Storm rally falls short in loss

DURANT – Southeastern was in a pitcher’s duel through five innings before a pair of errors would prove costly in the sixth innings as Oklahoma Baptist scored seven runs and a late Savage Storm rally would fall shorts in a 7-4 loss on Saturday afternoon in the Great American Conference opener at Mike Metheny Field.

The loss drops SE to 5-4 on the season and 0-1 in GAC play with the final two games of the series slated for a noon double-header on Sunday.
